Recently, after the review of China Science Citation Database (short for CSCD), 《CHINA FOUNDRY》journal has become the source journal of China Science Citation Database (2021-2022). A total of 1262 source journals are included in the China Science Citation Database (2021-2022), including 245 English journals and 1017 Chinese journals published by China.

About CSCD

CSCD is the Chinese first citation database founded in 1989. And it covers more one thousand kinds of excellent academic journals in some area of natural sciences, engineering and medical disciplines, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, life science, earth science, agricultural science, medicine, industrial technology, environmental sciences and so on. It plays an important role in information navigation in discovering important scientific research achievements and tracking scientific research process in China.

CSCD cooperates with Clarivate and Elsevier, becoming the only database in China that cooperates with Web of Science (SCI) and Scopus to popularize Chinese journals to the world.

The source journals of CSCD are selected every two years. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods is adopted in each selection. The quantitative data comes from the CSCD, and the qualitative evaluation is conducted by domestic experts to evaluate the journals. About CHINA FOUNDRY

Founded in 2004, CHINA FOUNDRY journal (ISSN 1672-6421, CN 21-1498/TG) is bimonthly published by Foundry Journal Agency and Springer to a worldwide readership in English. It has been successively selected into the T2 classification catalogue of Mechanical Engineering, Non-ferrous Metals, Metallurgical Engineering Technology and Metal Materials, and Materials Science - Comprehensive Category. It has been continuously selected into the Key Magazine of China Technology and Excellent Academic Journal with International Influence in China.
