Call for Papers —— Special Issue on Superalloys of CHINA FOUNDRY Journal

CHINA FOUNDRY is a peer reviewed journal publishing original and high-quality articles covering a wide range of topics in metal casting science and technology. CHINA FOUNDRY is indexed by Thomson's Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-E) (beginning with the first issue of 2007), SpringerLink, EBSCO, CSCD, Chemical Abstracts (CA), Cambridge Science Abstracts (CSA), Abstract Journal (AJ) and Elsevier's largest abstract and citation database - Scopus and so on.

We are now call for papers for the special issue on superalloys to be published at the end of March, 2023. Articles submitted should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication any place else and should report original unpublished research results, and not less than 4,000 words. The manuscript you submitted will be reviewed and approved by the editorial office of CHINA FOUNDRY, and the accepted manuscript will be published in the form of special column/special issue. The article processing fee is normally charged according to the standard of CHINA FOUNDRY (see Instructions for Authors).

Topics for the special issue include but are not limited to:

1. Composition design and development of superalloys

2. Microstructure and properties characterization of superalloys

3. Solidification behavior of superalloys

4. Process design, optimization and quality control of superalloy parts

5. Mathematical modeling and simulation of manufacturing process of superalloy parts

6. Additive manufacturing technology of superalloy and moulds (sand mould/core, ceramic mould/core)

Deadline

The manuscript should be written in English, and submitted before December 20, 2022 to www.editorialmanager.com/chfn or www.foundryworld.com, or to Ms. Chun-yan Zhang by E-mail at zcy@foundryworld.com, with a subject of superalloys.
